Dallas based musician Hannah Jadagu popped onto my radar earlier this week and I’ve been engulfing myself in her music ever since. She manages to create beautifully intimate pieces of music that draw you into her inner most thoughts and personally invites you to be a fly on the wall during her own life experiences. It becomes even more impressive when you find out this 17 year old writes and produces all her music.
She recently released a mesmerising piece titled Pollen, a breezy laidback melodically based summer track that melts all your worries and qualms away with the tranquil guitar riffs and scintillating drum beats. There’s a mesmerising quality to her vocal as well with the reverb vocal effect adding another layer to the sonic texturing of the single, combine all that with her melancholy lyrics and you’ve got something that you’ll be listening to over and over again.
