The UK artist born to both Arabic parents is best described as the stylistic brooding yet sensual sound of The Weeknd merged together with the otherworldly vocals of Ariana Grande, which kind of makes sense considering those two collaborated in the past, and don’t get me started on her undeniable lyrical prowess.
She released her debut track recently titled Who Needs Love and within the first few seconds she manages to breathe new life into the genre with a subtle dark pop inclusion within the sensual production as well as a honeyed vocal that evokes so much emotion with just a simple riff that it’s hard not to feel connected with her.
