Around a year ago now Sarah Close released her debut EP Caught Up which was filled with promising pop jams that showed this girl was ready to set the music scene alight. A spanner was thrown into the works though when her label dropped her which interrupted all of her music plans for a while. She then returned stronger than ever with the release of her independent track You Say and today she’s released a stellar music video for the already stellar track.
The track is about an ex partner trying to get back into your life despite the fact you’ve moved and are happy with your new partner. The video was co-directed by Close carries a relaxed yet tense atmosphere with Close singing into the camera whilst showing off some fierce dance moves. You Say has all you could want from a Sarah Close track with an infectious pop melody, a stunning vocal and an engaging production. She may have had a small detour on her musical journey but Sarah is back on track and I look forward to seeing more of this budding starlet.
