G Luné – Colors

Friday, October 30, 2020

Colombian American artist G Luné originally started her career in music as a jazz artist before slowly transitioning into the R&B soundscape that would see her draw comparisons to the likes of Steve Lacy and Remi Wolf. Her vocals are to die for with her lusciously smooth and divine tone gently floating across the deep bass rhythms of her latest single Colors, to create a compelling dynamic that is utterly charming and soothing for the soul.

One of the things I love about this track is that it has this old school charm to it, with the swirling synths that are apart of the production, whilst still maintaining a modern sensibility though the subtle nuances she features casually throughout the piece. The artist herself says it best, “My music goes well with car rides, walking down a street, and even chillin with people.” Whatever the occasion G Luné has a track that will go down a treat for all involved and will have you diving head first into her discography in a heartbeat.
