Born in the Southern African mountains of The Kingdom of Eswatini Manana has had music in his life since the young age of 8 where he joined his school’s choir and ever since then he hasn’t looked back since that fateful moment. The now 26 year old artist has grown into a fine artist with him wearing his heart on his sleeve through his candid lyricisms and delicately placed vocal that glides effortlessly over his intimate production. You just have to looked at his previous releases Those Days and Electricity as prime examples of this.
He recently unveiled his latest offering to the world titled Call Me is the first single off of Manana’s debut album In the Beginning Was the End, a project about heartbreak told in reverse with this piece introducing us to the relationship that’s reached its end. The emotion this track holds is unmatchable with the evocative tones of his voice sending a wave of emotion cascading down upon you in a glorious fashion whilst the nostalgic R&B production only amplifies this further. Gorgeous piece from what looks to be a rather exciting album.
