Baseball Game – Baseball Game

Out now via U.S Label House Arrest, Baseball Game is the affecting new single from the LA/Nashville based duo of the same name. The track comes as the lead single from their impressive new EP, showcasing the songwriting duo’s unique ability to draw on 70’s soft-rock with a contemporary twist.

The band and indeed the new single, are named after a defining childhood memory. It’s a nod to the feelings of defeat, shame and embarrassment that comes with the notion of growing up and the band are adept at conveying those feelings through their music. The new single in particular, evokes feelings of regret and frustration met with an emphatic, potent indie rock production. Speaking on the new EP, the band state:

“Our debut EP is a collection of songs about nostalgia, desire, melancholy, and loss. Writing this album allowed us to sit down with ourselves and sift through the most human emotions we’ve experienced this past year. Each song felt like a race we didn’t have to win, rather we let them develop at their own pace, never forcing the process. That is something Baseball Game as a whole, and especially this album, allowed us to do.
