Fridays For Future is an organisation that came about in August of 2018 after Greta Thunberg lead a protest against Swedish Parliament where she sat outside their building for three weeks to protest against climate change, once those three weeks were over she continued to strike every Friday for the foreseeable future. As a result #FridaysForFuture and #ClimateStrike trended globally and this organisation was born to help take action against the climate crisis and educate people on the matter at hand.

Now Adrian Davinski and Lars Säfsund have collaborated to create their own personal gift to Fridays For Future in the form of the song Next Generation. They believe music has the power to help change the world and that’s why this track is free for them to use at demonstrations, campaign videos and honestly this is a perfect representation of this amazing organisation and what can be done to change the world.

Lyrically it has it’s own manifesto and how we should be thinking about what we’re handing over to the next generation and what life can be worth. The inclusion of the next generation singing at the end only helps this pieces message further. Beautiful track for a noble cause.
