Now with all that said I can now tell you that the newly signed Godmode musician PawPaw Rod has absolutely hit it out of the park today with the release of HIT EM WHERE IT HURTS which fuses together elements of funk, soul and hip hop to create a entrancing piece of music that I am well and truly hooked on.
A funky guitar riff leads the production with a sublime underlying bass rhythm giving the piece this addictive funk flair that gets your foot tapping along in an instant as well as a unique vocal delivery that is just the cherry on top of the whole affair. This shows so much promise and I am genuinely excited to see what the LA artist has to offer with his laidback yet compelling soundscape.
