LYL

Love You Later is the brainchild of 21-year-old singer/songwriter Lexi Aviles who for the past few years now has been releasing these dreamy pieces of beautifully crafted and sonically textured pop with quixotic lyrics and an optimistic atmosphere to match. She’s been on fire with her music and her latest single Blindfolded from her newly released EP Heaven Is Without You is another example of that.

Speaking about the EP the artist said that “Heaven Is Without You illustrates the ups and downs, twists and turns, fun times and bad times of a relationship that was suppressing me as a person and therefore, as an artist as well. It’s about realization and acceptance and letting go and growing into my own whole person without needing a relationship (especially a toxic one) to fill in the gaps.”

Now this single serves as the final track of this EP and ends it all on a self-confidence anthem with it focusing on the aftermath of a break-up. The dust has settled and the realisation has settled in that the grass is greener on the other side and you get this euphoric feeling of being truly free once more. The lyrics are honest and mesh beautifully with the romantic production that expertly demonstrates her brand of soaring indie pop to a near tee. Listen to the whole EP, I promise you that you won’t be disappointed, in fact you’ll be overjoyed.
