1975_2

Sometimes all you need is a good crying session and The 1975 have provided the perfect song to soundtrack it with their latest single, which if you’re a big fan of the band you might’ve already heard from a live acoustic version they did all the way back in April 2019 now. However now the band have paired up with Phoebe Bridgers for Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America and this has to be one of the best songs to come out of 2020.

It’s utterly beautiful with these two honest and relatable love stories intertwining with each other in a breathtakingly gorgeous manner. Matty Healy’s vocals are filled with so much emotion that every lyrics hits you like a freight train and Phoebe Bridgers comes truly shines in her verse where you feel both the joy of her confessing her feelings but the nervousness of saying it out loud too. It captures the feeling of this love magnificently, the nerves, the joy, the fear, all of it wrapped up together in one masterpiece. Notes On A Conditional Form is set to be one of the albums of the year.
