The blues folk sound is something that I find quite captivating, it just has this power and enthralling capability that I just can’t get enough of, but it’s rare I find an artist who truly embraces the sound. Then you’ve got Hannah Halfpenny who’s come along with her utterly compelling single I Want Your Love which combines this gothic southern soul sound with the old school British brand of folk storytelling to create something that I simply cannot get enough of.
