Ireland over the past year has become a hot spot for exciting new artists with so many thrilling artists coming from the country with the Dublin based quartet Inhaler being a prime example of this. The band met whilst they were all still at school and quickly realised they loved infectious rhythms and intoxicating melodies more than learning about Pythagoras’s Theorem and, as expected, they began producing some tantalisingly good music.

My Honest Face has been their runaway hit with the pounding percussion and slick guitar melodies making this a stadium anthem that fans will be singing out loud like their life depended on it. I Won’t Always Be Like This has a sonic soundscape that is expertly crafted and is reminiscent of the early 80’s post-punk sound mixed with some of the early 90’s rock sound (almost Oasis-esque in a way). Then you’ve got their latest single Ice Cream Sundae that feels like it belongs in an A24 coming of age film with the honest lyrics and superb vocals lifting me up every time I hear them.

This band have got something that I find utterly irresistible and 2020 is looking like the year this quartet will take over the UK with their sound.
