Montreal based Canadiana singer songwriter Mattia Pironti has been making quite the name for himself in Canada with his past singles being featured on Montreal’s biggest English speaking radio station and countless playlists to match. Now he’s dropped the new single Mirror which sees Pironti show his willingness to be both transparent and vulnerable to his audience and it results with a beautifully evocative track.
The minimalistic yet highly emotive production allows for Pironti’s vocal to really shine throughout the single with each lyric oozing with this heartfelt message of his own personal heartbreak. There’s a gorgeously constructed soundscape too featuring these somber guitar melodies, evocative drum beats and subtle synths that build allows for the emotion to build throughout the piece until the very end where you’ll find yourself quite quickly reaching for the tissues.
