Nicolas McCoppin is an NYC based artist who’s euphoric brand of dance pop with a bit of an 80’s flair has seen him begin to make waves online. Honestly I’ve always likened him to a modern day version of Wham mixed with a bit of Carly Rae Jepsen and his latest single Ur Love perfectly demonstrates this.

The second the track starts you’re met with these buoyant synths that effortlessly get your foot tapping along to the beat, body swaying along to the melody and, before too long, you’ll find yourself singing along to the hook with your own choreography. Then you’ve got McCoppin’s vocal which simply soars throughout this piece with his smooth tone dancing over that dance oriented beat. Combine all that with a story driven music video and you’ve got an addictive piece of pop that you’ll be going back to over and over again.
