The Welsh pop punk scene has been on a massive rise as of late with a ton of bands coming out of the woodwork with addictively anthemic singles that has allowed the Welsh nation to give their own firm stamp on what the pop punk genre is all about. The latest to do this with their euphoria inducing debut single Decadent Flowers is the Blackwood based band Super Marine.
What I love most about this track is the little throwbacks it gives to how the genre started out with these anthemic guitars and gang vocal chants at the start that instantly get you hyped up for what you’re about to hear and that excitement continues to build throughout. The production immediately gets you feeling amped with the addictive guitar riffs, high speed percussion section and a chorus that was made to be sung at stadiums across the globe. This is everything that pop punk should be!
