Sometimes when one chapter of your life ends you just desperately want a fresh start and that’s exactly what Austrian musical Bellabeth did when she graduated High School and bought a one way ticket to London before eventually moving to Munich. That’s one big leap and it’s definitely paid off because her experience gigging around the two cities helped her create her latest single You Made Me Soft.
What I dig about this track is the way this is a reflection of her more harsh and aggressive talking to her now more soft self. It’s an interesting concept executed expertly through her more emotively raw vocals during the verses and her elegantly tender vocals during the chorus. The melodic nature of the the song helps this further to leave you with a rather mesmerising piece of work.
