Ben McKelvey manages to do that with ease in his latest single Life Before You which is about that moment in life when you realise just how much someone means to you.
The thing which sets it apart from others in the genre in the production, the track knows when to be soft in the verses but also when to become an anthem that gets people up off of their seats and singing along joyously in the chorus. It has an air of Frank Turner too with it having those hooks that you could play in a pub and everyone would be able to sing it back to you perfectly and without a care in the world.
