We all go through dark times in our life where, more often than not, it feels like there is no end in sight of this sadness but Liv Harris is here to tell us that there is a place beyond dark times. She shows all of this in her long awaited single Hideaway, which has already become a fan favourite on her Twitch streaming channel.
The main focus of the track is on Harris’ celestial vocals which deliver the poignant lyrics beautifully with the ambient electronics and organic drums providing a perfect backing to emphasise the angelic quality of her vocal further. One thing I love is the build of the track though, it sort of represents the feeling of going through dark times with it starting off solemn before building to the breakthrough where you see the light and everything around you becomes a euphoric experience.
