When you’re a Manchester band I don’t think there can be a bigger honour than having Manchester United play your music at Old Trafford or performing at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium. Well one band has already experienced both of those, the four piece band Pacific have become the next big thing in Manchester and if you need any proof of how good they are then just listen to their latest single Time To Forget.
The piano led nature of their alternative rock sound makes their music instantly stand out with the melodies getting stuck in your head easily, a vocal that is reminiscent of Matt Bellamy, an electrifying chorus and, honestly, just about everything you need in a good piece of music. My favourite part though is the lyrics, I adore how they focus on that self realisation of clinging onto the nostalgia of your past and the excitement that comes from the future. It’s a brilliant piece of music.
