The three piece environmental and social activist musical collective Trapdoor Social are one of the most unique acts around at the moment. They’re not your everyday indie pop band as they actually try to help fundraise for charities and helping the environment, they’ve even had solar powered live shows done across the USA. They’re both socially and environmentally aware and want to do something with their art to help out which you rarely see to this extent.
With an infectious funk-fuelled rhythmic guitar, intoxicating melody that gets your foot tapping, intensely passionate vocals and a contagious chorus that you’ll be singing under your breath for days to come The Move is one of their best tracks yet. However beauty is not skin deep, as underneath the danceable melodies lies a message of growth with it being inspired by the band wanting to grow an army of people who want to make the world better than when they found it. Can I say again how much I love these guys?
