The music scene in Leeds has given us some wonderful artists over the years, from Alt-J to Soft Cell the city has produced some truly marvellous acts and it looks like they’ve added another one to that ever growing list. yet Far Caspian have released another track and it is as warm and harmonious as ever.

With a hazy guitar that transports you back to the summer of love, a looping drum beat that gets your head bopping and honeyed vocal that is mellifluous as can be, it’s safe to say the trio have struck gold with Conversations. Compared to their past music the band have adapted their sound to have more of an 80’s influenced that is reminiscent of The Cure with a lo-fi production. With bittersweet lyrics attached to the tranquil production you’ve got a track that has more that just a slick production to it.

Conversations is a indie anthem and Far Caspian are certainly extending their run of addictively and charmingly good tracks that just make you fall in love with their music.
