If you’re a fan of some good electronic dance music then look no further than SILENTSHOUT. The LA based duo previously released the track Kid In The Headlights in 2018 that caught a lot people’s attention through it’s frenzied production style and unpredictable nature, honestly you never knew what was going to happen next with this song, so we were very excited to hear what this duo had done as a follow up.
King Of Nothing continues with their frantic style but pushes it further than ever before and is their best song to date. It’s ridiculously addictive with high energy production that never stops along with a hauntingly beautiful vocal that creates a tense atmosphere that has you on the edge of your seat throughout. The enticing synth beats enthral you from start to finish with the panicky nature of the track and a killer hook that makes you want to get up on you feet and dance.
King Of Nothing is fearless, there’s no other way of saying it. SILENTSHOUT have produced their best track yet and just makes us more excited for their debut album that is set to come out sometime this year.
“When you grow up, you experience a fair amount of disillusionment. In our current era where every single day brings miserable and terrifying news about the state of the world, the disillusionment we feel is far more extreme than we expected it to be. ‘King of Nothing’ is about feeling hopeless in the face of a power-hungry and indifferent world. It’s about that sheer panicked state, when you feel like the world is ending and there is nothing you can do to fight the forces bringing it down. And you just want to give up.” – Alina Cutron, vocalist of SILENTSHOUT
