The second I heard NOPRISM’s latest single it immediately peaked my curiosity with their use of dynamic synths, addictive melodies and anthemic vocals enthralling me from start to finish. In-fact when the track ended I was actually disappointed that it wasn’t longer because of how captivating Ghost was as a single, it actually caused me to dive into their discography and listen to the rest of their material, which is freaking outstanding might I say.
The track itself is about a lingering memory of something you can’t have, it’s that thing that’s in the back of your mind that you can’t escape that just builds until one day that your longing for it stops you dead in your tracks. The production represents this effortlessly with the pulsating synth melody and mesmerising brass section building throughout until the end where it abruptly stops you without warning. It’s weird, it’s wonderful and it’s one of those songs you won’t forget in a hurry.
