I’ve always wondered how sibling musical acts work because I feel like if me and my sibling ever started doing music together we’d end up killing each other before the first lyric was even written. Then however you’ve got Cattle & Cane who make it seem so easy with their music having a timeless quality to it that draws you in from the second it starts to the second it ends as they demonstrate in their latest single Lonely Room.
The production of the track is lush with it being beautifully textured with soft synth melodies, compelling beats and a simply mesmerising saxophone solo that elevates this track to a whole new level. The vocals have a mellow quality to them that allows the emotion to shine through the compelling delivery and when you combine all that with the poignant lyrics then you know you’ve got something you’ll be addicted to for days on end.
