Sometimes less is more and that is certainly the case with Aleksander Waataar’s minimalistic Wait, a single about postponing the little things in life until they all come clashing together to become something bigger than what you can handle. Yeah this is something I think I can definitely relate to at this present moment in time.
It’s a subtle track with the lyrics taking centre stage as they effortlessly deliver an emotionally enthralling story that might end up with you reaching for the tissues by the time the tracks over. However what I love most about this track is the concept behind the production, it starts of whisper quiet with all these little nuances in place until the near end where is all collides to create this huge cacophony of madness, reflecting on the meaning of the single perfectly. Utter genius.
