Right now in the music industry I don’t think there’s an act I am more excited about than Julian Lamadrid who’s high octane brand of indie pop rock has been something I truly cannot get enough of. He’s got so many wonderful qualities to his sound that every time I re-listen I find these little things I never would’ve noticed before and it makes me fall in love with sound all over again, it’s honestly that good.
Today he dropped the music video for his latest track Cigarette and it’s just as good as, if not better, than what I was hoping for. The black and white music video provides the perfect contrast to the energetic and colourful track with Julian commanding the camera like her commands the stage with every move being timed to perfection. It’s an utterly compelling watch.
Julian Lamadrid is a name to keep an eye on and I have no doubt in my mind he’s going to take over the world with his music. Dive into his music and get yourself a new addiction because this guy is totally worth it.
