That’s the feeling I got with Kaveri when I first heard her angelic voice through her compelling new single Smell of the Rain.
Every word she sings in this song is a thing of beauty with the minimalistic style of the production only enhancing this celestial voice further to the point where the poetically inclined lyrics offer this new perspective on a rather dark subject. Then when you place this song over a stunning video shot my Oscar and BAFTA nominated director Shekhar Kapur and you’ll soon realise that this single is something rather special.
