Within the opening 10 seconds of this track CATALI had completely enthralled me with her dramatically emotional sound to the point where I stopped what I was doing and just took in the beauty of the piece. Honestly Never Look Back has the grand emotion that is reminiscent of Adele, the killer pop hooks of a Katy Perry track and the timeless appeal of Shirley Bassey all rolled into one dynamic piece of music.
There’s such power behind the track too with the lyrics diving into the nitty gritty of quite a heartfelt subject matter with her evocative vocals delivering this message effortlessly, whilst also sending chills down my spine. In just under three minutes she captivated me and left me begging for more.
