I’ve loved how as of late alternative pop stars have taken over the music industry, people who don’t particularly fit with the traditional pop star mould be it with their sound or their look with Billie Eilish being a prime example of this. A few future icons have been popping up ever since and one of the most exciting, in my eyes, has been the duo AJÁ ROSE who’s latest single Fall Apart will enthral you from start to finish.
The production of the track dances between dark brooding synths and ethereal melodies to create a rather compelling dynamic with the angelically soft vocals gliding over the top. Along with that there’s a personal and quite relatable tale behind the song with the lyricisms expressing how whenever somebody tries to knock you down or make you feel bad about yourself it’s best just to ignore them and, honestly, cut them out of your lives.
