Sometimes all you need in life is a good old fashioned pop single to boost your mood and get you ready to start the day. That’s why I’ve become slightly addicted to Beat The System’s latest uplifting piece of happy-go-lucky pop Reach The Light and, if you’re like me, it’s something that will definitely put a smile on your face.
The track has this old school 90’s/early 2000’s pop appeal with the an anthemic chorus being reminiscent of P!nk and positive nature that I could see being played at a number of fundraising events across the UK. add in some lyrics showing the struggle to reach that light but when you do it’s a glorious feeling along with a pop vocal that feels like it belongs in the charts and you’ve got a track that you’ll be singing for weeks to come.
