The Faim create what can only be described as stadium anthems, with their previous tracks Midland Line, Saints of the Sinners and Summer is a Curse being filled with high amounts of energy, slick guitars and an earwig of a chorus. Ahead of the release of their debut EP Summer is a Curse (September 7th) the Aussie band have released an original track and a cover of a classic anthem.

A Million Stars shows off the bands more laid back approach, showing they don’t always need heavy rock guitars and energetic tracks to deliver something that strikes a chord with their fans and the general public. It’s a departure from their usual rock style with it leaning more towards a pop sound with a soaring chorus that you’ll find yourself singing along to very quickly.

On the opposite end of the spectrum now we have their cover of Blondie’s classic track One Way Or Another. The track is brought into the modern era and demonstrates what these boys are capable of with them bringing in energy that levels with Blondie’s original. I can just see this being performed live in-front of a packed stadium with everyone singing along and creating an electric atmosphere out of it. Also helps that the track is being used in a Coca Cola ad across Europe!

“To say we’re excited about releasing this EP is an understatement. More than just songs, to us these six tracks are a window into our world. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support of the community around us and welcome you all on this beautiful journey. We’re proud to be able to share our music with you and hope you enjoy listening as much as we’ve enjoyed writing it.” – The Faim
