I fully believe the UK has some of the best young musical talent around right now, everyday you see sensational young artists appear with spellbinding pieces of music and sixteen year old Surrey born singer Liberty Grant is certainly one of those artists. I mean she’s already performed across the UK at venues like The NEC and Lords Cricket Ground and opened for acts like Matt Terry and Years & Years, so it’s safe to say she’s already an experienced performer.

Her debut single My Way opens with a somber piano before Grant’s emotively commanding vocal appears instantly becoming the narrator to this track. With poignant lyricisms telling you an empowering story about not wanting to be taken advantage of in a relationship this track certainly has the power to resonate with people. Production wise I adore the verses, the piano melody instantly creates a solemn atmosphere that is reminiscent of Adele before becoming more grand during the chorus with a hook that many will be quietly singing under there breath after on listen. It’s empowering, it’s lyrically strong, it’s got a stellar production and a gorgeous voice to match, what more could you really want from a debut single?
