Chloe Berry – Breakfast

Most people will spend their whole lives trying to find their calling, the thing that calls to them like a siren to sailors lost at sea but New York native Chloe Berry knew her calling was music since she was 7 years old. She immersed herself in music, writing songs everyday, learning all she could from videos on YouTube and regularly roaming the city looking for any venue to see live music in, all of which helped her go from being a bedroom performer to a fully fledged artist. Her dulcet tones are wrapped in this subtle nostalgia that gently allows you to drift off into a dreamy state of pure bliss.

Her latest release Breakfast paints a picture of a relationship that’s on the brink of collapse despite all one person is doing to fix it. Blinded by unrequited love they fight for this relationship to stay afloat but it becomes harder and harder as you make breakfast every morning for them to just have a breakdown over it. The doo-wop inspired production of campy melodies and quite jubilant riffs contrast this tale perfectly and is kind of reminiscent of something you’d expect to hear on WandaVision in a uniquely quirky way. If this is what she’s given us for breakfast the bring on lunch!
