At this point in his music career the rising Australian artist Stevan doesn’t have to impress us like the title of his latest release suggests as he’s been continually leaving us begging for more with every single track he’s released. His Just Kids mixtape is one of my favourite projects to come out of 2020 with his gorgeous vocal and uncompromising talent being but on full display throughout and he recently might’ve just released one of the musical highlights of 2020 in the form of Impress You.
As per usual Stevan’s vocals are the highlight of the track with his lush tone effortlessly melting into the entrancing production with a looping synth beat that adds a subtle punch to the piece that allows the emotion to thrive as a result. His soundscape is just so inviting that I personally cannot get enough of his music and I have no doubt he is going to continue to grow as an artist and become someone who everyone knows.
