Silver Sphere – Handle Me

In the indie pop world there is no bigger prospect around right now that Silver Sphere. Ever since we heard Boys in Bands we were hooked on her scintillating sound, she went from being the unknown popstar in the making and now she’s out favourite popstar around and, honestly can you blame us for thinking that? Her music invites you into her own personal universe and that phrase is taken quite literally in relation to her latest single Handle Me, from her upcoming EP all my boyfriends which she talks about below.

“I wanted the EP to detail the many stages of love. It’s specifically about one of my first encounters with the intensity and variety of emotions that love can bring. But the story is told through Silver Sphere’s first trip to Earth, where she encounters things she’s never seen or felt before. After all, there are no fuck boys in The Silversphere.”

If Silver Sphere wasn’t already known as the next pop icon then this track has just cemented it as it’s one of her best yet. Her brand of honest and relatable pop music makes her shimmering sound so inviting, almost like you’re seeing an old friend for the first time in ages and although it feels weird to see them again, there is something comforting about that embrace. She just crafts magical music moments and this track is no exception.
