Ben 10, our favourite Saturday morning cartoon and now our favourite track from the alternative bedroom musician Internet Boy. I’ll be honest when I say until this track came out I hadn’t heard any of his tracks, I went into it completely blind and soon found myself on a never ending journey through his discography, discovering tons of new songs that I’ve been completely hooked on, with Mocha Mocha being a personal favourite. If you’re a fan of lo-fi hip hop with an alternative bedroom pop twist then this boy is for you.
The track Ben 10 comes from his EP I HATE THE INTERNET, which features a plethora of phenomenal tracks (listen to For You / Right Down when you get the chance) but it was this track that just popped out for us. The distorted production comprised of shifting synth melodies, fluctuating beats and warped vocal riffs had me hooked in an instant and has he began to deliver the hook I knew it was going to be in my head for weeks to come. It’s a unique track from a stand out EP that has made Internet Boy one of those artists who you might want to keep an eye on.
