Gotta give a big shout out to Before The Data for introducing us to the sensationally talented artist Moe Young today because he’s absolutely extraordinary. Yesterday he dropped his self titled debut EP and honestly the project doesn’t have a bad song on it with each track offering a fresh insight into his hip hop flavoured R&B sound whether it be the potential chart topping Shot With Me featuring lilspirit or the hard hitting Options.
However there was one track that caught our attention the most in the form of the tenderly penned soulful number Valet. The delicate guitar melody leading the production with Young’s expressive vocal making the lyrics come to life and the story feel more raw and real with every word he sings. It’s a short and sweet affair but it cements this 23 year old as being a future star in the R&B game, I don’t think there’s anyone who can deny that.
